What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture is a growing movement, which provides economic support and predictability to family farms. This allows local farmers predictability for their upcoming growing season and allows our local community the opportunity to enjoy local farm products.
How it works:
By purchasing a CSA "share", you are choosing to partner with our farm local for our harvests in 2023. You can rest assured that you know where your chicken is coming from and have the satisfaction of supporting a local family farm.
The contents each share box will vary based on what is available and how well we are able to work with farming and Mother Natures curve balls. We have incorporated lots of diversity and flexibility into our chicken growing plan, but of course we never have 100% control over Mother Nature and may need to make some substitutions on occasion.
If you are going to be on vacation, you can:
- Delay your pick up for a later date
- Have a neighbour or friend collect your box for you.
- You can also choose to have your box donated to the food bank
If at the last minute you are not going to make it to a pickup, please text us as soon as possible so we can make arrangements. Due to the perishable nature of meat, we can not provide credit if you miss a pickup and have not contacted us.
You can select your share size and length in the menu and pay in full by credit card, or feel free to email us your selection and pay via EMT to jackpinemeadows@gmail.com.
